David Lloyd David Lloyd health clubs are part of Whitbread PLC, one of the UK's leading leisure companies. This chain has 49 health clubs in the UK with a total of around 240,000 members. Facilities at David Lloyd health clubs include a gym, dance studios and aerobic areas, swimming pool, racquet sports, steam room, spa, sauna, sports shop, and a health and beauty area. LA Fitness With more than 40 health clubs in the UK, about half of which are in the London area, LA Fitness health clubs have a focus on relaxation and fun. The facilities at these health clubs include a mixed gym, swimming pool, exercise studios, spa, steam room, and a sauna. You can also opt for personal training and there is even facilities for children at LA Fitness Kids. Living Well Part of the Hilton Group plc, Living Well health clubs are one of the UK's largest health club operators with some 88 clubs and 120,000 members throughout the UK. There are also some Living Well health clubs overseas now. The facilities at the health clubs include a gym, swimming pool, spa pool, steam room, and a sauna. There is also personal training available along with exercise classes and beauty therapy. Topnotch With 35,000 members and 20 health clubs in the UK, Topnotch have a rage of facilities including a gym, swimming pool, exercise studios, steam room, spa, sauna, and a crèche for the kids. Dragons Owned by leisure company Crown Sports, there are 22 Dragons health clubs in the UK, 11 of which are situated in and around London. The facilities here include, an air-conditioned gym, swimming pool, children’s swimming facilities, sauna, steam room, spa, beauty areas and a crèche. Total Fitness/Next Generation There are 10 Next Generation health clubs in the UK and all offer a wide range of facilities including, a gym, exercise studios, steam room, spa, sauna, and a crèche. Fitness First With 112 health clubs in the UK and more than 266,000 members, Fitness First is one of the largest health club chains in the country. Virgin Active There are around 20 Virgin Active health clubs in the UK with a total of 85,000 members. JJB Fitness JJB Fitness clubs are located through the UK, including cities such as Manchester, Glasgow, Hull and Aberdeen. Bannatyne’s Bannatyne’s has more than 80,000 members who relax and workout at more than 30 health clubs across the UK. These health clubs have all the usual facilities, including a gym, swimming pool, steam room and spa, as well as offering personal training and lifestyle evaluation. Greens With fitness mentors and personal training, Greens health clubs offer you the chance to build a tailor-made exercise and fitness regime for you.
